Step 1: Program & Availability
Please fill out the Program Availability Form so we can find the best match between instructor and student based on student goals and the availability of both parties.
Step 2: Confirmation
The Oxford Arts Alliance will reach out with a confirmed Weekly Schedule and Start Date from an instructor that matches the provided information from before. After the schedule is arranged, all changes to the schedule will be handled between instructor and student. In the event there is not a common availability, the Oxford Arts Alliance will notify you and add you to a waitlist.
Step 3: Academy Registration
Immediately after the schedule is arranged, students will need to Register under Academy Registration for Private Lessons before classes can begin.
Step 4: Invoicing
After the first lesson, students will be Invoiced for the Month based on the starting date and then billed at the end of each month moving forward. All schedule changes that may affect invoicing will need to be handled with your instructor so the Oxford Arts Alliance knows what if any changes need to be made to the invoice.

The Oxford Arts Alliance is pleased to offer youth and teen lessons with a variety of options. We now offer a wider variety of art lessons, please see below. Ranging from grades 3+, your child can cultivate their artistic skill through our seasoned instructors. Lesson descriptions will vary based on the level and goal of the student. We offer virtual options through Zoom, Google Classroom, Skype and FaceTime for current students.

Art Fundamentals
Learn the basics or develop your skills. The lessons will focus on the level of the student. Students will learn color theory and techniques with different mediums as well. As students progress, they will learn about different forms of art and application. An assortment of drawing materials will also be experimented with.
Sub-categories of drawing fundamentals include: portraiture, life drawing, and animals
Portfolio Preparation
Portfolio Preparation consists of refining one’s artistic skills to build a consistent body of work that shows ability, variety, and knowledge of materials. Students will experiment using different types of mediums. They will learn about drawing and sketching as well with lessons on shading and perspective. This is for experienced middle school and high school students who want to build a foundation for an art school or art-oriented high schools and colleges. The instructor will include a materials list for the student to purchase. The student can provide the instructor with a requirements list from their preferred higher education program.
Sub-categories of portfolio preparation include: portraiture, photo-realism, and life drawing

Our students will learn the basic skills in art including value, color, shape, and line by exploring observational and reference drawing. Students can speak with their instructor about their individual interests to delve even deeper.

Our art faculty are professional artists and teachers with credentials including Kutztown University, Southern New Hampshire University, Savannah College of Art and Design and University of Delaware.

Art lessons are exclusively for OxAA members only. Click the registration link to get started with art lessons and you will automatically be enrolled in our membership program. Membership fees for Oxford Arts Alliance Inc. are tax-deductible Membership fees for Oxford Arts Alliance Inc. are tax-deductible.

Private music and art lessons are by appointment and are not reflected in the gallery, office, or extended hours. Our academies are generally open from 3:30 pm to 8 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 8 pm on weekends. Music and Art Lessons are held 7 days a week. Closures are the only times that reflect all the office, galleries and academies as a whole.

Lessons will be held in the Music Academy of the Oxford Arts Alliance, 38 S. 3rd St, Oxford, PA 19363. The Academy is located on the first and second floors.

The Oxford Arts Alliance is a registered 501 c(3) non - profit
organization that creates an environment for working artists and musicians to teach in Oxford, PA.
Our 2023 Tuition Rates *
$104 per month (weekly 60 - minute art lesson)
Tuition is invoiced on the 1st day of the month. Payment must be made by the 15th of the month.
* Federal holidays , town events , and instructor vacations have been calculated into the price of tuition.
