OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS

The Oxford Arts Alliance is located in the historic town of Oxford, Pennsylvania. As a nonprofit, we welcome a vibrant community of students and guests to our galleries and academies each week, immersing them in the transformative power of the arts. Visitors explore captivating artwork in our Main Gallery and Emerging Artist Gallery. We foster community through diverse artistic experiences including exhibitions, lectures, workshops, films, as well as music and art lessons.

Submissions for solo or group shows are accepted on an ongoing basis for the coming exhibition year. Artists should be Artist Members of the Oxford Arts Alliance.

• CV

• 10 – 15 images

• JPEGS, 1040 longest side, 300ppi

• Title, Media, Size, Year

REVIEWS

Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis. Accepted artists will be notified via email and coordinate with the Creative Coordinator to schedule exhibition details.

SHIPPING

Artist(s) are responsible for delivery and return of work. The Oxford Arts Alliance will take all due care in installation / deinstallation of artwork. The organization will promote the exhibition in regional outlets and on our website and handle all sales of work. Artists should consider whether to insure their work for shipping and handling purposes.

SALES

Artists provide a price list for works included in the exhibition. Oxford Arts Alliance Artist Members retain 70% commission on sales with 30% going to support the important ongoing work of the Oxford Arts Alliance, so that we may serve more people in our community. Non-Artist members donate 40% back to OxAA. If a gallery patron expresses interest in acquiring a work displayed in an exhibition, sales will be managed by the OxAA gallery and 70% will be sent to the artist. The artist may also elect to list works as Not for Sale (NFS) on the price list.
