Paige Wolfe Presents:

Moving Still

This collection of work represents a journey of growth and contemplation. Sometimes with great movement, and sometimes with the whisper of a brush, these paintings are born. As I put paint on canvas, I venture through the worlds of motion and emotion, figuring out how to combine shapes and colors into that inner landscape we all experience. Often in a garden like setting, these paintings can reveal beauty and joy. Sometimes in a stiller atmosphere, these paintings ask the viewer to think about how they perceive their world outside and within. Whether we come from similar or different backgrounds, these paintings hope to show a commonality of spirit. And even though we are in constant motion, we can also find that stillness and quietude in certain moments.

  Biography

Paige Wolfe is an artist who lives in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. She has been painting for 10 years and works in an Expressionistic style. Her ideas come from combining nature with emotions. She has been part of group shows at the Chester County Art Association, the Wayne Art Center, and a two-person show at the Side Street Gallery in Philadelphia. This past fall, she had a show at The Wilmington Opera House in Delaware. She credits much of her art education to well-known artist and teacher Eo Omwake. Her approach to painting is highly process-oriented, and she believes a good painting must reflect from one’s heart.
