Cathy has been painting in various mediums for over forty years. She grew up in an artistic family, seeing work created by her great grandmother and great aunt. It inspired her to continually draw and paint even though her career has been in veterinary medicine. For six years Cathy has been painting pet portraits on ornaments and canvas. The joy clients express makes the time it takes to create the pet portraits on 3 inch spherical ornaments worth it. Cathy also paints landscapes, mainly of Southern Chester County, and paintings of birds from photos she has taken all over the world. Cathy's Baby Robin painting was on the cover of the Journal of American Veterinary Medical Association, and her Baboon painting graced the cover of Laboratory Animal Practitioner.
